Not everyone has a Italian grandmother... but that doesn't mean you can't learn to cook like one! The region of Le Marche has such a rich tradition of food and wine that it is one of the most natural locations for a hands-on cooking lesson. All menus will highlight the freshness and uniqueness of the local products used and will be cooked in the traditional manner.
Maria is the expert cook who will demonstrate clear and simple regional cooking techniques in the well-equipped restaurant kitchen of the Locanda del Gusto, situated in Comunanza, a medieval village with a stupendous view of the Sibelline mountain range. Her recipes feature prized IGP and DOP ingredients, such as saffron and apples, which are cultivated in this mountainous terrain.
As you cook together, Maria shares personal anecdotes and stories of the Marchigian culture and its age-old traditions, habits and culinary customs. Afterwards you will sit down and enjoy a delicious, 3-course meal of which you can be proud!
Instructor will devise the menu based on season and available ingredients.
