Discover the Chianti countryside from the seat of a Vespa scooter -- nothing is more Italian than that! The experience concludes with a winery visit and a meal at a Tuscan farmhouse.
This shared, full day excursion is an easy and fun way to discover the Tuscan countryside. Roll through Tuscany on a scooter and soak up the sights, smells and sounds: warm winds on your face, earthy colors, the scent of thyme and rosemary... this is an unforgettable experience that you won't want to miss! A comfortable minivan will bring you to Chianti country, far away from the busy and bustling city. Astride your scooter, you will ride through a picture-perfect landscape of tidy vineyards, medieval castles, magnificent villas and silent monasteries.
You will stop at a winery for a guided tour of the wine cellars and then for a meal at a farmhouse where an array of Italian delicacies will be served, along with a short tasting of the famous Chianti wine.
Please note that as an alternative to a scooter, you may decide to reserve a seat on the Tuk Tuk - a 3-wheeled Vespa that will be driven by a tour leader.

It was a lovely was to see the countryside. Our guide was great and we went to the Ruffino winery, stopped in a quaint market, then back to this lovely estate for a lovely Tuscan lunch.
This was my favorite part of my trip to Italy. Loved the tour, the guides were knowledgeable of the area and helpful and really just a blast.
This was the best part of our trip to Florence! Riding a Vespa is quite fun, and the countryside is beautiful. The tour guides (Andrea and Jacopo) were easy-going, but knowledgeable. They start off teaching you how to ride with a few practices rounds in the lot and then off you go. I can see how it is important to not feel intimidated because the Vespas do not have training wheels. The stop at the winery is really cool. You get a little tour, learn a bit about wine and olive oil, and then get served some nice lunch. A few miles later, everyone stops at a cute gelato shop and pick a flavor. My husband and I recommend this tour. I would absolutely do it again.
